A mitzvah is a commandment, an imperative in Judaism. (In everyday language, mitzvah refers to any good deed or commendable action).
The goal of our community — is to spread knowledge of the Torah and assist in the observance of Jewish traditions.
Unfortunately, not every family can afford to have kosher mezuzahs or tefillin, set a kosher festive table for holidays, or even have Torah books in their homes. Our task is to bring the light of mitzvah where the God has assigned us. It is considered a great merit to participate and assist those Jews who are in need of these essentials.
May we merit the mitzvah of helping those in need, for it is a great merit!
Amen.
Friends, it’s a great Mitzvah to acquire mezuzahs and Torah books for Jewish families in Baku who lack access to them. Additionally, you can dedicate a Torah study session for the elevation of the souls of your departed loved ones or for the recovery of those in need of healing (Refuah Shlema).
